In sight of the new text of the Draft Law on Corporate Income Tax, it proposes the disappearance of the deduction for environmental investments.
The law will be applicable as of January 1, 2015, so that the environmental investments launched in 2014 and 2015 will continue to have the right to the deduction. In the event of an insufficient quota they will continue to be applicable in the 15 subsequent years.
In addition, it continues to be important not to miss the opportunity to review the investments made since 2002, because without the need to rectify previous settlements, the administrative doctrine recognises the possibility of applying in corporate income tax settlements and deductions not recognised in previous years.
The Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) plans to publish a call for proposals for financing energy efficiency projects in the industrial and building sectors from September onwards. The subsidies will be non-refundable and will amount to 20% of the eligible cost.
