This announcement will have a budget of 28 million Euros for 2016 (200 million Renminbi).
The Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) has published the first EU-China call for proposals under the co-financing mechanism (CFM) for Research and Innovation. This call will support research and innovation organizations participating in joint EU-China projects in Horizon 2020.
The announcement is open to participants based in China, either in projects already successfully selected in the Horizon 2020 framework or in proposals submitted (single-stage or two-stage calls that have passed the first evaluation phase), but not yet selected in Horizon 2020.
Priority areas for support in 2016 cover mainly agriculture (including food), biotechnology, ICTs, space, aviation, energy, health, transport, water resources, energy conservation and emission reduction, advanced manufacturing, new materials, sustainable urbanization, and the exchange of young scientists.
In addition, in the 2016/2017 work programs there are several topics specifically marked for cooperation with China.
This announcement has established two deadlines for the submission of proposals, March 31, 2016 and July 31, 2016.
